Preserving and sharing the vibrant traditions of Filipino folk dance
right here in the heart of Rhineland-Palatinate.
Who We Are
Maharlika Interkultureller Kaiserslautern e.V. is a non-profit registered association dedicated to the preservation, performance, and promotion of traditional Filipino folk dance in the Kaiserslautern region.
From the graceful Pandanggo sa Ilaw to the energetic Tinikling, our repertoire spans the rich cultural tapestry of the Philippine archipelago — Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.
We welcome dancers of all backgrounds — Filipinos longing for home and Germans embracing Southeast Asian culture alike. Together we celebrate heritage, community, and the joy of movement.
